Anyone riding out there may be charged with tresspassing and insurance
is cancelled.

However, we are working with the City of Safford on a new location that
should be better, bigger, and with great access. The track is going to
be located by the rifle and archery range on city property. To get
there you have to go north out of Safford on 8th ave and across the
river, then turn right at the y on airport rd. After a few miles you
turn right on dry lake rd. The track will be down about 1 mile on the

AMA Supercross - Las Vegas |
It all came down to this. For the better part of four months, the
riders of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Series have battled it out
over 16 rounds in the chase for the coveted AMA number one plate. With
both of the Lites Regional Series champions already crowned, Las Vegas
not only served the final battle for Supercross supremacy, it also
played host to the ultimate battle royale among the East and West coast
Lites riders. It was all about bragging rights for the Lites, but the
Supercross championship was on the line for San Manuel/L&M/Yamaha's
Chad Reed and Geico Powersports Honda's (formerly Torco Racing Fuels
Honda) Kevin Windham. Reed came into the night with a 10 point lead on
Windham, so Windham would need the win and a seventh-place or worse
finish from the Yamaha pilot to steal the championship from Reed.
So who came out on top in Sin City?
SUPERCROSS LITES HEAT ONE
After the fireworks burst and the jets flew over, the Lites lined up
for the first heat of the evening. When the gates dropped Robert Kiniry
took the holeshot into the stretched out straightaway just outside the
stadium. But Rockstar/Makita/Suzuki's Ryan Dungey swiftly bounded into
the lead midway through the first lap. Monster Energy/Pro
Circuit/Kawasaki's Austin Stroupe slid his KX250F into second with West
Coast champ Jason Lawrence all over him. On the second lap, Stroupe referred to his notes from practice and
blasted through the rhythm section and stole the lead from Dungey as
they shot outside of the stadium into the Monster Alley. Just off the
pace, Broc Hepler and Star Racing's Wil Hahn battled, while Stroupe's
teammate, Brett Metcalfe settled into fourth in front of them.
